ANSC graduate student Chuan-Wei Tung in the Biswas Lab was awarded an Ann G. Wylie Dissertation Fellowship from the UMD Graduate School. ANSC graduate students Akanksha Hada in the Xiao Lab and Tamseel Fatima in the Kim Lab received the Graduate School's Summer Research Fellowships. These fellowships support research activities that advance a doctoral student’s progress toward degree.
Liesl Young in the Taneyhill Lab and Megan Liu in the Broadbent Lab received the Office of Undergraduate Research’s SPIRE Program Summer Fellowship. The SPIRE Provides opportunities for UMD undergraduates to work closely with faculty mentors on summer research projects while actively engaging with the broader community of SPIRE researchers.
Tamseel Fatima in the Kim Lab and Batsheva Marks in the Keefer Lab were awarded the ARPAS-ANSC Travel Awards to assist with travel to conferences and meetings.

Declan Kehlbeck in the Broadbent Lab was selected for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) prestigious Summer Internship Program.
