The College of Agriculture and Natural Resources at the

The Department
of Animal and Avian Sciences provides a
sciences/professional option which will prepare you for entry into
any of the 27 veterinary schools in the United States, including the
Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine.
Student Services:

- Mandatory advising and mentoring by a faculty member who is an expert in
your field of interest.
- Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine admissions advisors
located here on campus who will assist you
in preparing applications to veterinary schools.
- Modern laboratories, a surgical suite, animal rooms and a teaching farm
are part of campus facilities and provide both
educational and research opportunities for students.
- Many internship opportunities at the College of Veterinary Medicine, College
