Research - Quantitative Genetics, Biometrics

Selection theory and quantitative genetics
Estimation of genetic parameters from selection experiments; selection in small or in closed populations; group selection; selection for direct and other genetics effects (e.g., maternal, associative). These topics are being approached through theoretical work in statistical methods and experimental work with Tribolium castaneum.

Applied statistics
Methods for establishing the "best" size for experimental and observation units.
