The University of Maryland's Crane Aquaculture Facility (UM - CAF).

  • This 4000 square foot wet lab located in Campus Building # 886, utilizes 3 state of the art recirculation aquaculture systems (RAS) to provide optimal environmental conditions for diverse fish species. These 3 systems provide a total of approximately 75,000 liters culture research space. Attached to the wet lab is a  600 square foot dry lab which supports gamete biology and cyrobiology research.   • Zebrafish module: A stand alone Zebrafish system is locate at UM-CAF and supports Dr. Woods' hands-on undergraduate aquaculture class (ANSC 255).

 The Aquaculture Teaching Lab (ATL)

  • A RAS is located in Room 0108 of the Animal Science Center (Campus Building #142) to support Dr. Woods' hands-on undergraduate aquaculture class (ANSC 255).
